SMALL TANDEM DOG LEASH SPECIFICATIONS

The Small size PupFitters Double Dog Leash is designed for walking two smaller dogs on one leash. The Small is a relatively short 5 foot (152 centimeters) overall length to keep excess rope from dragging on the ground. The tandem leads are two feet in length giving each dog moderate freedom of movement from the other. At 6.9 ounces (196 grams) total weight the Small Tandem is built light as not to overburden our diminutive canine friends. The Small size PupFitters Tandem Leash is designed for walking two dogs with a maximum combined weight of 40 pounds (18.1 kilograms). Solid brass thumb operated snap hooks are used to attach the small to each dog’s harness or collar. A solid brass double swivel between the handle and the tandem leads prevents the dogs from becoming tangled.

Note that even if your dogs have a combined weight of less than 40 pounds please consider choosing the medium size leash if:

(1) The dogs are prone to pulling while on leash. The Small Tandem Leash is sturdy enough for the strongest small dogs, but having the larger diameter rope of the medium leash may be more comfortable in the hand.

(2) You want a longer lead. The medium size utility leash is one foot (31 centimeters) longer than the Small size.
