This leash is specifically designed for larger police and military patrol dogs. The oversized 5/8” diameter rope keeps the leash from cutting into the hand even when pulled by the strongest dogs. The large handle can be used while wearing either duty gloves or cold weather gloves.

The Monster size PupFitters Patrol Dog Leash comes standard with a heavy duty, solid brass bull snap for maximum security. The bull snap mechanism operates by pulling the lever away from the body of the snap. This configuration makes accidental leash release next to impossible. Note that releasing the bull snap is a two handed operation. The bull snap is ideal for patrol/sniffing dogs wherein quick release is not required. For applications that require quick release of the dog the Monster size is available with a panic snap (See the Attack Dog Leash section of our website).
